Club Sports Grant Process<\/strong><\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

Requirements before applying<\/strong><\/p>\n

    \n
  1. Events Hosted<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

    Have sent events to Assistant Director for Sports Programs and have recorded events by submitting either an Event Request, Intent to Travel Form<\/a>, or an Event Review Form<\/a> on Engage.<\/p>\n

    1. Roster\/Waiver<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

      Make sure that your roster is current on Engage. Each participant on the roster must also have completed the Club Sports Waiver on Engage.<\/p>\n

      1. Website\/Blog <\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

        Club websites must have been updated within the last month. This includes current roster, contact information, try out dates, practice times, events hosted and blog posts.<\/p>\n

        1. Budget<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

          The club\u2019s Budget sheet on Google Drive<\/a> must be current with the correct revenues and expenses. It is important that this requirement is met because the budget sheet will be used in your club\u2019s grant presentation.<\/p>\n

          1. Good standing<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

            In order to be considered in good standing a club must have completed the following reports on time: End of Semester Report<\/a>,\u00a0Election Report<\/a>, and Budget Request Sheet<\/a>. The treasurer of the club must also have met with Joyce by the required date.<\/p>\n

            Presentation Requirements<\/strong><\/p>\n

            The President and Treasurer of the club must create a video presentation with the requirements listed below. The presentation will be reviewed by the Club Sports Council. If you have any questions about the presentation requirements please email clubsports@butler.edu<\/a>.<\/p>\n

            1. 5 minute video presentation including President and Treasurer (other club members \u00a0may be included)<\/li>\n
            2. Introduction of speakers including names and positions<\/li>\n
            3. A brief description of your club:\n

              1. Number of \u00a0members<\/li>\n
              2. Dues\/Fundraisers<\/li>\n
              3. Events attended or hosted<\/li>\n
              4. Awards\/Recognition<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<\/li>\n
              5. Current Budget Overview\n
                  \n
                1. Budgeted Expenses and Revenues<\/li>\n
                2. Requested Grant Amount<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<\/li>\n
                3. Rationale for new funds\n
                    \n
                  1. What you plan to use the grant for<\/li>\n
                  2. Who will benefit from the grant<\/li>\n
                  3. Explanation for any excess funds<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<\/li>\n
                  4. Any other information that is pertinent to your application<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n
