The Club Sports spring season keeps on rolling for our teams. Each weekend seems to be as busy as the last!<\/p>\n

Here is how the teams did last weekend:<\/p>\n

Curling:<\/strong>\u00a0The team scrimmaged a Circle City League team and won 5-4! Their final shot came in overtime.<\/p>\n

Hockey:<\/strong>\u00a0The hockey team hosted Indiana University at Pop Weaver, hoping to keep their winning-streak alive. Unfortunately, the team lost to a tough IU team 1-15. They have a week off and then will be back for the ICHC Tournament!<\/p>\n

Women\u2019s Basketball:<\/strong>\u00a0The team held a very successful home tournament over the weekend, ending with a record of 3-3. They went 1-2 on Saturday, beating UK and losing to BGSU and University of Illinois. On Sunday, the team beat BGSU, lost to\u00a0University of Illinois, and then won a close game against IU to get third place in the tournament! Photo credits to Jimmy.<\/p>\n

Men\u2019s Volleyball:<\/strong>\u00a0The team traveled to Peoria, Illinois for the MWPVC North Regional Championships on Saturday. They ended up getting third place overall! The team went 3-0 in pool play and then 0-2 in the gold bracket.<\/p>\n

This coming weekend, we have four teams traveling for events! Men’s Volleyball is headed to La Crosse, Wisconsin for the DII Midwest Invite on Saturday. The Swim team is going to Purdue on Saturday for a meet, with hopes of qualifying more members for Nationals. The Tennis team is off to Madison, Wisconsin from the 14th-17th for their first tournament of the semester. The Equestrian team has their first show of the semester at St. Mary of the Woods on Saturday and Sunday.<\/p>\n
