<\/a><\/p>\nButler’s Club Basketball played host to Ivy Tech (Indianapolis) on Saturday in a defensive showdown.<\/p>\n
The first half was a back and forth battle that led to a 24-23 lead for Ivy Tech at halftime. After a few adjustments from both teams, Ivy Tech opened the second half on a 6-1 run and led 30-23 with 12 minutes remaining in the game, The Bulldogs finally got their offense rolling and went on an 17-0 run that gave them a 40-30 lead with just under 5 minutes to go in the game. The Dawgs were able to keep that lead as they held on for a 45-37 victory at the Butler HRC (Health and Rec Center).<\/p>\n
The Dawgs will now turn their attention to their next tournament coming up at Dayton on November 7th and 8th.<\/p>\n
