Butler University&#8217;s Day of Giving starts Wednesday, February 26 at 6:00 AM and will run until 12:55 PM on Thursday, February 27.<\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\">This day is so important to us as this is one of the biggest ways we get funding!<\/p>\n<p class=\"s4\"><span class=\"s6\">We have an exciting year planned and we are asking for donations to help offset our general expenses. To keep the team progressing each season requires a significant budget that cannot be met by\u00a0<\/span><span class=\"s6\">University funds and\u00a0<\/span><span class=\"s6\">student dues alone. We depend on individuals\u00a0<\/span><span class=\"s6\">as well as businesses\u00a0<\/span><span class=\"s6\">in the community to support our team in order for us to continue to not only compete but also represent\u00a0<\/span><span class=\"s6\">Butler<\/span><span class=\"s6\">\u00a0University. Our expenses for the<\/span>\u00a0<span class=\"s6\">season consists\u00a0<\/span><span class=\"s6\">o<\/span><span class=\"s6\">f<\/span><span class=\"s6\"> travel to and from tournaments, ref and field time fees, as well as potential league fees as we look to join the WCLL in the future. For those of you who were with us last year, we have new jerseys coming as a result of last year&#8217;s successful day of giving!<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"s4\"><span class=\"s6\">Our goal is to acquire sufficient funds from\u00a0<\/span><span class=\"s6\">donors and or sponsors<\/span><span class=\"s6\">\u00a0to strengthen the foundation of our team and to ensure the future success of the program. Given that we are a non-profit organization, your donation is tax-deductible and serves as an excellent way to give back to your community. We graciously accept any assistance you can offer, and we thank you in advance for your support for our\u00a0<\/span><span class=\"s6\">club<\/span><span class=\"s6\">\u00a0and our University.<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"s4\"><span class=\"s6\">Donors will be presented with a letter of thanks as well as an acknowledgment certificate for your tax-deductible donation.
