Three weeks into our season and we have already had five games! Currently, our record is 2-3.
Our first games took place at Purdue on Saturday, September 8th. We played Purdue University and Valparaiso University. Our first match was against Purdue University. It was a tough competition, but for our first game together we played very well together. We ended up losing 0-5. In our next game we faced Valparaiso University. We played extremely well and won 2-0. Jenny Green and Melissa Jones scored for us!
On Sunday, September 9th, we had our first home game against Indiana University. This was our first game of two against them. While this was a very closely played game, we ended up losing 0-2.
This past weekend we had two home games against Ohio State University and University at Illinois Chicago. Ohio State University was a very skilled team and we ended up falling to them 6-0. On a positive note, we beat UIC 1-0! Olivia Euler scored the goal for us!
We are off to a good start and finally are coming together as a team! 🙂
