Happy Summer Everyone!

Just a little bit of information for you all about this upcoming fall season.

Tryouts: Will be held on August 28-29 (Wednesday and Thursday) from 6-7:30PM. Our first game of the season at Hillsdale College, Saturday August 31st at 1:00PM, will be a part of the tryout process. If you are interested in playing this season but have a conflict with the tryout times, contact me and we will do what we can to get you involved 🙂

Dues: $75

Dues are based on our prjected expenses for the season, if these expenses are not as much as expected we will refund the difference.

Practice and Game Schedule:

Practices=  Wednesday: 6:00-7:30, Thursday: 6:00-7:30  Practices are on the club fields.

Three weeks into our season and we have already had five games! Currently, our record is 2-3.

Our first games took place at Purdue on Saturday, September 8th. We played Purdue University and Valparaiso University. Our first match was against Purdue University. It was a tough competition, but for our first game together we played very well together. We ended up losing 0-5. In our next game we faced Valparaiso University. We played extremely well and won 2-0. Jenny Green and Melissa Jones scored for us!

On Sunday, September 9th, we had our first home game against Indiana University. This was our first game of two against them. While this was a very closely played game, we ended up losing 0-2.

This past weekend we had two home games against Ohio State University and University at Illinois Chicago. Ohio State University was a very skilled team and we ended up falling to them 6-0. On a positive note, we beat UIC 1-0! Olivia Euler scored the goal for us!

We are off to a good start and finally are coming together as a team! 🙂

The team finished this season 6-4 placing 4th in the Western Division of the W-MASC and 13th overall out of 28 teams in Region II. The team also won a last minute bid to Region II Regional Tournament, but was unable to attend. The team is looking forward to this next  upcoming season.
