MEN’S LACROSSE

The Butler Men’s Lacrosse program began in 1993. They competed at the NCAA Division I level and continued until 2007 when the D1 program was disbanded. However, many men at Butler still wanted to play lacrosse and a group of players started the club team in March of 2007. The club is still running strong in the Fall and Spring 2021/2022 school year.

The current team is comprised of players of many levels of experience, ranging from beginners to experienced players. The team practices two to three days a week and schedules about 5 games over the course of the fall-ball season and about 10 games over the course of the spring season. We are currently associated with the MCLA, currently competing in Division 3 of the Upper Midwest Lacrosse Conference.
