MADISON UNGER

Madison has been selected as Women’s Club Lacrosse’s player of the month for March because of her excitement to learn a new sport! As a first year Biochemistry and Pre-Med major at Butler she decided to come out and try lacrosse to meet new people. As you can imagine, picking up a sport in college has to be pretty intimidating when you are playing with girls who have been playing for years, but Madison has an eagerness to learn and is a great addition to the team. Madison likes the the game because, “It’s a mix of almost every sport, interactive, and gets people to know one another.” One of Madison’s favorite memories from this season so far is, “Playing at Taylor when I played on the field for the first time!” What is even more impressive is that before the Taylor game Madison volunteered to hop in the goal when our goalie was injured. It takes a lot of courage to step in the goal, so Madison shocked us all when she stepped into the goal during our game at Rose-Hulman (pictured above). Madison is excited to, “Continue to meet new people and improving my skills for next season.”

Thank you Madison for trying something new, and we are so excited to see your skills continue to grow!
