Butler Women’s Lacrosse Club is all about encouraging women to grow not only as a team but as individuals as well. We believe that clubs sports is an outlet that can improve both mental and physical health by providing a stress relieving environment and a community of friendship. Additionally, this club promotes teamwork and the importance of integrity on and off the field.
This club is meant for women who both have experience with lacrosse and for those who want to try and learn something new. Practice begins in the fall and entails a couple of practices during the week and a home tournament. The main season takes place during the spring semester where practices become more regular and more games, both home and away, are scheduled. Additionally, during the off season, in the winter when it is hard to get outside, there are groups lifts and training at the HRC, as well as team bonding events.
