This past weekend club sports competitions were in full gear, and we have the results here!
Club Basketball hosted its home tournament on Saturday, November 2nd, and defeated Western Illinois twice, 59-45 in the semi-finals, and 64-45 to win the championship! Along the way, the Butler Club Basketball Team also took down Indiana State in their first game, winning 65-33, and Dayton in their second game, winning 69-48.
Women’s Club Volleyball competed as well this weekend, traveling down to Columbus to compete in Ohio State’s Buckeye Invitational! The A team ended the tournament with a 6-3 record, tying for 9th place, and the B team finished 1-5. This tournament featured some of the top teams in the country, including Ohio State, Dayton, Miami (OH), and others!
The Men’s Club Volleyball Team also traveled for a competition this past weekend. They traveled to Dekalb to compete at Northern Illinois, one of the top teams in the country! At the tournament they competed against some familiar faces, as this is their 3rd year in a row playing in this tournament. The team lost in the semi-finals of the Silver Bracket, and showed a lot of potential for future tournaments!
