Women’s Volleyball
The Women’s Club Volleyball team continued their success at the NCVF National Tournament. After being crowned champions in two of the last three years, the team was looking to continue the streak.
During the first day of the tournament, the team went 2-1. They defeated Slippery Rock University and Augustana College. The team fought hard in some crucial second day matchups to make it to the gold bracket. They beat Yale University, John Carroll University, North Dakota State University, and University of Denver.
On the final day of Nationals, the team lost in the single-elimination bracket to Bellarmine University, who ended up getting 2nd place in the tournament. Overall, the Women’s Club Volleyball team had another strong Nationals showing with a 5th place finish.
The Men’s Club Volleyball team attended their first NCVF National Tournament after an extremely successful year.
The team started out with a 2-1 record on the first day of the tournament, beating UW-Stout and Bethel University.
They went 3-1 on the second day of nationals and were placed into the silver bracket. They defeated Ohio Northern University, Bentley University, and Stockton University.
After an extremely exciting final day where the team went 3-0, the Men’s Club Volleyball team became DII Silver Champions! They cruised to a 25-15, 25-23 championship game win over UM-Duluth.
