As many of our Club Sports teams have completed many games, here is an update as to how our teams have fared:

Golf: The Club Golf team competed in the NCCGA Indiana Regional Tournament at Harrison Hills Country Club on September 22nd & 23rd. The team had 11 people participate in the two day tournament, which pitted them against players from IU, Purdue, and Notre Dame. Butler student Eric Smitson placed fifth out of 66 players, with a first round score of 71 and a second round score of 80. Josh Mullenix and Jacob Valdick tied for 10th placed, with a total score of 155 for the two rounds. The team is back in action on October 6th & 7th, where they’ll be traveling to Eau Claire, MI to play at Indiana Lake Hills Golf Club.

Men’s Lacrosse: The Men’s Lacrosse team began their season on September 22nd, traveling to Xavier for a game. Although they lost, the team is looking to bounce back at their October 21st tournament at IU.

Men’s Soccer: The Men’s Soccer team has been very busy within the last few weeks, playing in six games over that time. They are coming off a strong win at Valparaiso University, where they beat the Crusaders 4-2. The team currently holds a record of 1-3-2. They finish up their fall schedule this weekend, with a game on Friday, October 5th at Notre Dame, a game on Saturday, October 6th vs. Miami at Butler, and a game on Sunday, October 7th vs. Wright State at Butler.

Women’s Soccer: The Women’s Soccer team has had a strong fall semester, with eight games being played since September 8th. They currently hold a record of 3-1-4, after recent wins against Ball State and Illinois State. The team hosts DePaul on Saturday, October 6th and travels to Milwaukee on Sunday, October 7th. They finish up their season in a few weeks at Bradley.

Ultimate: The Club Ultimate team hosted its first scrimmage of the season on September 27th against Depauw. They won 11-9 in an exciting game!
