Butler Day of Giving is here!
Since Butler was founded in 1855, the Day of Giving will be a 1,855 minute challenge for Bulldog community members to give back to the University. The goal is for 1,000 gifts to be made in those 1,855 minutes. BU Day of Giving begins on Wednesday, February 27 at 6:00 AM and goes until 12:55 PM on Thursday, February 28.
Please consider donating to Butler Club Sports! There are 473 participants that play on our 20 Club Sports teams. They travel to over 200 yearly events all across the Midwest. This year, teams have the opportunity to attend tournaments in places as far away as Colorado, North Carolina, and Florida.
Many of the Club teams charge dues to their members in order to raise enough money to attend events. The Club Sports Council also allocates a certain amount of money each year to every team with funds provided by Student Government Association (SGA). But, many teams still need to fundraise in order to have enough funds to cover all of their expenses throughout the year. They host restaurant givebacks, create promotional videos, and have fundraising challenges, all to raise enough money.
BU Day of Giving is a great time to support Club Sports! Donations are tax-deductible and all funds go to the Club Sports program or the specified team. Here is how to donate:
