This past weekend club tennis and women’s basketball club teams had matches. Their results are below.
Club Tennis Sectional Results:
Butler vs. Central Michigan (W 30-10)
Butler vs. Loyola (Chicago) (W 30-11)
Butler vs. Marquette (Loss) (point differential)
Butler vs. Illinois (Loss)
Butler vs. Northwestern (Loss)
Butler vs. DePaul (Loss)
Butler vs. Michigan State (Loss)
The results above lead Butler to their best finish ever, placing 8th out of 32 teams in the Midwest. They will continue their season later this semester when they travel to Tuscon, Arizona to complete in the national tournament.
Women’s Basketball:
This past weekend the women’s club basketball team defeated Ivy Tech in a scrimmage they hosted in the West Gym of Hinkle Fieldhouse.
