With just over one week to go until Thanksgiving, the Club Sports Department has been so thankful for all of the work that the clubs have put into their seasons thus far! Almost all teams have hosted an event and traveled to an event. For this past weekend, we had three teams participate in games or tournaments. Here is how they did:
Women’s Volleyball: The women’s club team traveled to University of Illinois on Saturday for a single-day tournament against many Midwestern teams. The ‘A’ team ended with three wins, two ties, and one loss. They won the silver bracket! The ‘B’ team finished with one win, two ties, and two losses. The ‘A’ and ‘B’ teams played each other in the tournament, with the ‘A’ team winning a close 2-1 match. Next, the teams travel to Indiana University on December 1st to finish their fall season.
Women’s Lacrosse & Men’s Lacrosse: The two club lacrosse teams scrimmaged each other in the cold temperatures of Sunday morning. Here are some photos from the match, taken by Jimmy!
